Matt is a leading speaker, author, and coach in the tennis industry. He has been voted the USPTA Midwest Coach of the Year multiple times, featured in national magazines and radio outlets, and is the author of “The Perfect Tennis Parent,” A Guide for Parents of Competitive Junior Players. The book features commentary from coaches of players such as Roger Federer, Serena & Venus Williams, Pete Sampras, Andy Roddick, Novak Djokovic, and others. Matt is the co-founder of the EX Academy (with Craig Boynton, coach of John Isner). EX has produced hundreds of NCAA players and millions of dollars in scholarships. Matt graduated from law school but has continued to teach tennis because that is what he loves to do.
